Our previous Cookies in the Mill was held Nov. 18, 2006 and was a huge success, thanks to the support of Andrew Golub, University of New England, and Doug Sanford, developer of the North Dam Mill in Biddeford, Maine. Doug's
North Dam Mill made for a funky art space and the food from local sponsors (see list below) was the icing on the cake! The audience was a great mix of film makers and film afficionados. The lunch time buffet was an awesome mix of food and conversation (see photos below). A good time was had by all. Big thanks to Biddeford supporters and our film makers.

Special thanks to Mary Taddia and Melissa our volunteers. And most extreme thanks to Danny Louten, who designed our memorable poster.

With cookie love, Kari, Holly, Jessica, Brendan, Julian, Mary

DIRECTOR REMARKS ABOUT 2006 FESTIVAL...

"Thanks again to you and all the other fest organizers for such a great fest experience.  Joanne and I definitely enjoyed seeing everyone's films - not to mention getting to experience my own films before an unknown audience. And the free lunch and snacks are a tremendous touch! "
-Sean Foy, director

"I had a blast at the fest this past weekend, and my friend Jim and I were delighted to be there. Thanks again for including the "Center for Downward Mobility" in the festival, it was nice to be with a live audience getting a reaction to the film. As well as to enjoy the wide variety of other selections you hosted."
- Steve Stuart, director

"Thanks for having us up for the festival.  I'm just finishing off the last cookie that my son didn't eat. He says THANKS 2!!!  I know how much time, work, and energy you and your team put into it.  You guys get nothing but love from everyone at Midnight Chimes. "
- Kevin Anderton, director/producer
